Chapter 9 ~ New Romance?







I just came to my little sister Rosie’s house coz I miss her and I haven’t seen her in a while, and since she’s pregnant now I just wanna know how she’s doing. When I got here, I just looked under the doormat on the front porch because I know that Rosie always keeps a spare key there for me coz I’m welcome here whenever I please. I took out the key and then I put it in and unlocked the front door, I put my red duffle bag down in the living room and then I went upstairs to the guest room and everything still looked the same as it did 4 months ago when I last visited.



I guess Rosie never bothered to remove any of my stuff; my sneakers collection was still laid out in different rows in the walk-in wardrobe, and the clothes I left here were still there too. So I just went back downstairs and into the kitchen to see what was there to eat, I grabbed some orange juice from the fridge and checked in the cupboards to make a little snack. I decided to make some PBJ and took the orange juice with me to sit down in the living room; I switched on the TV and started flipping channels. There was nothing good on TV so I just decided to switch it off.



I started to relax a little bit and I decided to lie down on the couch, I got more comfortable and I nearly fell asleep until I heard someone knocking on the front door. I knew it couldn’t possibly be Rosie because she has a key since it’s her own house and it can’t be Kelly coz that niqqa is barely home…hmm I wonder who the hell it is.











I made my way to Rosie and Kelly’s house; I got there in like 15 minutes. I parked my car in a free space then I got out and took my bag out then I walked over to the front porch and I placed my bag on the doormat and then I walked back to my car and picked up my food that I bought earlier on. I closed the door and walked to the front door of Rosie’s house, I bent down and looked under the doormat but there was no damn key. Is Rosie playin’ me for a damn fool or something, she told me to come to her house and that there’d be a damn key here but I can’t see a f.ucking key here.




I know that no one is probably home but I knocked on the door anyway just in case Rosie somehow managed to get here quicker than I did. I stepped back a little and waited for someone to open the door, after about 10 seconds I heard some shuffling coming from inside the house and then I saw the door open…a cute, brown skinned boy was standing there and he had his hair cut low, he had the nicest eyes I had ever seen on a guy well apart from Tyrese but he’s a thing of the past now. I stood there, caught in a trance and then he snapped his fingers in front of me, and then I blinked and cleared my throat.



“Can I help you?” he said looking me up and down, as if he was trying to figure out something about me. I was finding it difficult to say anything but I eventually remembered what I wanted to say. “Yeah erm, Rosie told me to come here and wait for her until she got home.” I said feeling slightly uncomfortable. He stepped aside, and moved his hand to signal for me to come in. So I walked in and he led me to the living room. I sat down on one of the couches and he sat down next to me. There was an awkward silence as we looked around the room and avoided the possibility of looking at each other. But then I sneaked a glance at him and I realised that he looked familiar.



“Do I know you somewhere?” I said raising my left eyebrow and slightly tilting my head at a 90 degree angle. He reminded me of Rosie’s older brother Shad, in fact he looks just like him well except he hasn’t got Shad’s braids but the eyes and everything is exactly the same. He looked like he was in deep thought and then his face lit up and he finally responded to my question. “Is your name Alishia by any chance?” he asked with hope in his eyes and he raised both his eyebrows as he waited for my answer. “Yeah,... is your name Shad?” I asked. I sure hope he is Rosie’s brother or else that means I’m here with some stranger.


“Yeah my name is Shad, wow Alishia I haven’t seen you in a really long time. Damn I’ve missed you so much.” He said and then he grabbed me and pulled me into a warm hug, something I haven’t had from a man in a long time, he smelled so nice too and I just had to inhale his enticing scent. It felt like we were hugging forever, but then we eventually stopped and pulled away from each other, I then looked deep into his eyes and he looked into mine, we slowly got closer to each other and I could feel his lips almost touching mine and then…





Sorry that it was soo damn short or boring but you gotta bump and comment to find out what happens next but the next upd8 will DEFINITELY be Janice’s P.O.V den Alishia again.
