Chapter 3 ~ A Broken Heart~

Gloria's P.O.V

I woke up and I felt a sharp pain in between my legs, I guess Carnell must've had his way with me last night. Just as I was 'bout to get out of bed, I saw Carnell walking out of the bathroom. He came closer to me and I backed up, and he looked kind of confused, he reached out for my hand and I quickly moved it. I think he was surprised by my fear of him. I held the bed sheets tightly and close to my body, he came closer to me and started kissing the left side of my neck, then he found my spot and continued to massaging his lips, I let out a soft moan and then I bit on my bottom lip.

He realised that I liked it so he kept on going and then I loosened my grip on the bed sheets as he caressed my face. I thought for a moment and I didn't feel right coz Carnell always does this to me, he beats me to a pulp and then he makes love to me and it just doesn't make any sense. I pushed him back gently and he gave me a confused and angry stare, I thought he was gonna hit me so I put my hands in front of my face as a form of defence but he slowly removed them and then he kissed me softly on my lips.

He moved out of my way and then I got up off the bed and let go of the bed sheets. I made my way to the bathroom and then I looked in the mirror. My face looked terrible and my nose wasn't hurting as much anymore though, so I washed my face for a good five minutes and then I got into the shower and stayed there for like 25 minutes. I then got out and grabbed a towel and wrapped it around myself. I walked into the bedroom and didn't see Carnell there, so I lotioned up and then I put on a simple shirt and some shorts.

I figured that since I wasn't going anywhere today there was no need to pretty myself up, so I put on a light coat of foundation and I put some Vaseline on my lips. I applied some mascara to my eyelashes and then I did my eyebrows too, then I tied my hair in a high ponytail. I walked out of the bedroom and I heard Carnell's voice and I also heard some girl talking as well. I went into the living room and saw Carnell sitting next to some chick with pin thin straight black hair. She looked pretty though and I was hoping that she was just a friend or something, but I bet she's probably not.

They were talking and laughing with each other, Carnell had his back to me but it seems that girl he’s with saw me so she pointed to me and he stopped smiling and gave me a cold stare. I didn’t understand what was going on. “Carnell who is she?” said the girl with concern. “Oh, don’t worry ‘bout her Alishia...she’s just erm, my cousin” Carnell said but she didn’t look convinced. I felt so hurt and heartbroken that he just told some girl that I’m his-his…COUSIN!!

I started crying and I ran to him and kept on hitting him on his chest, he grabbed my wrists in an attempt to stop me from hitting him. “Stop it Gloria!! Now get the hell outta here and go to your damn room or something.” Carnell said as he let go off my wrists and pushed me back gently. Alishia got up and came over to where we were standing and she bent down to help me up. I got up and said “Thanks” , she smiled and said “You’re welcome”. Alishia walked back to where she and Carnell were sitting originally and she didn’t look happy at all.

“Carnell how in the hell you gonna treat your damn cuz like that...huh?” Alishia yelled getting all up in Carnell’s face. “Whatever, I gotta go coz I got some biz to take care of…Gloria don’t do anything stupid while I’m gone alright, bye baby” Carnell said, then he tried to kiss Alishia but she turned her face. I can't believe that he just called HER baby. Carnell got up and walked out of the front door, I looked at Alishia and she smiled at me and motioned for me to come and sit next to her, so I did.
“I hope Carnell doesn’t really think that I fell for that lame excuse ‘bout how you’re his cousin…I bet you’re his girl right?” Alishia said with attitude, I don’t really think she’s the kind of girl to mess around with. “Yeah I’ve been his girl for ‘bout 2 years now.” I said as I put my head down. Alishia looked really shocked to hear that. “Oh hell naw, you serious. Two whole damn years, that Carnell is a damn muthaf.ucker, s.hit he messing with the wrong chick.” Alishia yelled with rage.

How could Carnell do this to me? I thought he had changed but I guess I was wrong...I've gotta get out of here somehow. I don't know how, but I'll find a way.

Chapter 4 should be coming up soon a’ight, coz I am writing it right now.

...where's my bumpz at?? coz I've nearly finished writing the next chapter.

Carnell is a jerk ! and I'm confused . Okay I know he's like with Gloria but is he with me too ? cause I'm all "he done messed with the wrong chick" and all that ... i kinda like gloria so far she seems sweet ... a little messed up in the head ... but sweet .... (:
