So a few weeks ago I got this job at the community center by Alishia and Dustin's apartment building. So I see them Izzy, Egypt and the twins all the time. But it's kind of funny though, I almost never see Alexis or Carnell until I go to the apartments.

"Patty cake!! Patty cake!!" I looked up from the papers in my hands I heard the tiny voice calling me. Izzy was running towards me at full speed with a huge grin on her face. I picked her up, hugged her and put her back down. As soon as I put her back down she started rambling about how her day went.

"I had soooo much fun at school today! I painted and played with play-d'oh! And I made alot of new friends! There's Jessica and Keisha and Taylor and Stacey - he's a boy - and Chris and a boy named Isaiah and then -"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Izzy! Slow down!" She stopped talking and was breathing heavy. "Okay. Now, how did you get here? " She looked me like I had gone insane.

"Mommy told you last night that I was getting dropped off by the school bus today and you were supposed to be waiting for me outside. If I couldn't read, I'd probably be downtown somewhere." The expression on my face was shock. "Damn. I just got told off by a five - year - old." I laughed to myself. "Where's your cousin's?" I asked taking her hand.

"Still at school." She stated simply. "Are you hungry?" I asked her as we walked out the building. "Kind of. But I got to eat lunch today with my cousins though." She smiled really big.

"You want to go and get a pizza with me?" I asked. "Yeah," She said. "Good cause I am starving!" We both laughed and headed to the pizza place up the street.
