Chapter 6 ~ Thoughts of Escaping from Hell~






I was still talking with Alishia and I wanted to ask her if she knew a place where I could get a job, a decent job where I ain’t selling my body. I mean Carnell has made me stop doing that now but with him who knows what he wants coz he’s told me to stop doing that lots of times but when we need some extra money then he tells me that I gotta start again and I’m tired of all that bulls.hit coz he’s meant to be the only one to touch my body like that but instead he lets other men do the same to me.




My promiscuity sickens me but there’s nothing I can do about it because Carnell is so damn possessive so he won’t let me go. I wonder why he treats me like this, I mean I’ve never done anything wrong all I’ve ever done is love him unconditionally and do anything that he wants and yet he pays me back like this. I just can’t take this anymore. I moved my fingers through my hair as I sat there with a billion thoughts running through my head.


“Yo Ria, helloooooo.” said Alishia, she nudged me and it knocked me out of my train of thought. “Yeah.” I said and then I turned around and faced her as I got more comfortable on the sofa and put my feet up. “I just had an idea, now you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to but I think you should get a job if you haven’t already, you know something that can help you eventually get some money of your own. Money that would be enough for you to move out of here and leave that triflin’ niqqa’s dumba.ss.”she said with an angry tone and her eyes had a nothing but rage in them.



“I was just about to ask you if you knew anywhere that I could get a job that pays well.”I said with elation, Alishia sat there in deep thought then a smile suddenly lit up on her face. “You could come and work with me at my job at House of Delazon, besides we were looking for someone to work at a spare desk since one of the colleges quit to go work for our rival.”Alishia said then she rolled her eyes. “So are you interested?” Alishia asked and she awaited my response.



“Sure, anything’s better than just living in this hell hole” I said and then I started laughing and Alishia did the same. I then got up and went to the kitchen and fixed me and Alishia a little something to eat. We watched “Alvin and the Chipmunks” and we couldn’t stop saying ‘awww’ whenever their faces appeared on the screen. It had been 4 hours since Carnell left and we figured that he was gonna be back soon so then we decided that it was ‘bout time that Alishia went home.



“Bye girl, I’ll see you later ok, maybe we can go to the mall together this weekend.” Alishia said as she walked over to the door and opened it. She handed me a card with her number, address and e-mail address, I said thanks and I gave her my details too, we hugged and then she left.



I was real bored after she left so I turned off the tv and went back to the bedroom and just lied down on the bed and then I closed my eyes.









Dustin told me that he hadn't slept with Gloria before, so I believe him. After that long talk with him I realised that what I have should be good enough for me and that Gloria is my everything and that I should treat her right. So once I left Dustin's crib, i went to a flower shop and brought Gloria's favorite flowers which is traditional red roses. I got a card with a note on it and everything for her, I just wanted to apologise and this time I would do it right.


When I got home, I unlocked the front door and then head to bedroom. I saw Gloria asleep on the bed, she looked so calm and beautiful. I walked up towards the bed and kissed her on her forehead, she moved slightly and then I waited for her to open her eyes but she didn't so then I nudghed her a little and she immediately reacted by waking up. I smiled at her and then I showed the flowers to her and she looked so shocked, she looked like she was gonna cry.


"What's wrong, I thought these were your favorite?" I asked her as I wiped her tears away with my thumb. "Yeah they are my favorite, it's just that I never thought that you would ever do something this sweet for me." she said whilst sniffing. "Why wouldn't I do something like this for you, I mean I know I've been such a jerk these days but I promise you that I've changed now and I wanna be with you and only you." I said looking into her wonderful hazel eyes.


She looked down then looked back up at me and then she smiled. I placed a gentle kiss on her lips and then the kiss got more intense, but it just remained as a passionate kiss, a kiss that we hadn't shared with each other in a long time. The kind of kissed that I missed so much and that I never want to give up. I just missed her being in my arms and I hope that nothing will come between us because I don't want to hurt her anymore, but if someone or something does come between us then I really don't know what I'd do.
