I turned down the volume on the television as my phone vibrated to Coconut Juice by Tyga. "Wassup?" I said flipping my phone open my phone and answering it. "Hey Dustin. What you doin? You busy?" It was Alishia. She always calling my phone, wanting to talk. I don't mind though, she's like a little sister to me, and she talks about the funniest things. But this time she sounded real serious. "I was watching television. What's wrong?" I asked her. She sniffled, before answering. "Nothing. I just need somewhere to crash for a few days. Can I stay with you and Alexis?" She sounded like she had been crying and I couldn't turn her away, but there's not really no place for her to sleep. "What happened to staying with Carnell and his dad?" The last time she called me that's where she told me that she was staying. I thought his Dad was cool with her staying with them. "I can't stay in a place where I'm not comfortable. It's only a few days. I promise, no more than a week. If it's more than that I'll pay you rent." I had no problem with that but there was no place for her to sleep. "You know I got no problem with that but where will you sleep?"

"I'll sleep on the couch." I thought about it for a second before answering. "Yeah. I gotta check with Alexis though." She kinda laughed. "So Alexis make the decisions in y'all house?" "No! I make the decisions. I'm the man." She laughed even harder. "Yeah. Well then you should come down stairs and open the door." I was confused. I didn't know how she knew I was gonna say yes. But I got up, grabbed my key and went out the door and downstairs to the ground level of the apartment building and opened up the door as Alishia walked in with Carnell behind her. She had on a hoodie and I guess some shorts because all I could see was her thick thighs underneath the hoodie. We all took the stairs back up to the 4th floor. I opened the door and Alishia and Carnell sat down on the couch after Alishia put her one big ass blue and black suitcase on the floor.

"So, What happened? Why ain't you staying at Carnell's house no more?" I locked the door and went in the kitchen. "I told you already, I wasn't comfortable. And you know I don't stay no where that I'm not comfortable." She said. She sighed real hard and leaned back into the black plush couch. "Why didn't you feel comfortable?" I asked her, walking in to the living room and sitting down next to Carnell on the couch. She cut her slanted green eyes at me. "I don't wanna talk about it." She licked her lips and couldn't help but notice her tongue ring. It was silver with a tiny blue star on it. Alishia ran her fingers over her braids and excused herself to use the bathroom. That left me and Carnell in the living room in complete silence.

"You was staring mighty hard Dustin." Carnell nudged me with his elbow. I brushed off my white beater and leaned back on the couch. "Ain't no big deal. It don't hurt to look." I said nonchalantly. I turned to Carnell who gave me a hard stare right in the eye. "'It don't hurt to look.' Alright, I can understand that but you don't have to stare so damn hard, cause I don't like that shit." Carnell said to me. "Well she ain't ugly so I'm gonna look. Would you rather me avoid looking at her at her at all like she's some type of roach?" I asked. He raised his eye brow and me and laughed a little bit before answering. "Naw, you gotta point. But just don't look so hard at her." There was an awkward temporary silence before Carnell spoke again.

"You know Marcel got his ass whooped like 2 weeks before graduation?" I laughed and replied, "Are you serious? By who?!" He looked around the corner and turned back to me. "Ty." We both started laughing really hard. The laughter was shattered and it was dead silent when Alishia came back in to the living room. "What's so funny?" She asked. Me and Carnell shrugged. Alishia sat back down on the couch. Carnell got up and kissed her and her stomach, then he turned to me. "I'll be back tomorrow. Dustin take care of my babies." He left out the apartment and Alishia started texting. Babies? What the hell was that about? I turned at looked at her she was smiling and texting away. I turned and stared at her with a confused expression on my face.

"What?" She said to me, not looking up from her phone. "What is he talking about, babies?" I gave her a hard stare. She put her phone down on the coffee table that was in front of the couch, then she turned and faced me. With a straight face she said to me, "Dustin, I'm pregnant."

At that moment I heard keys fall to the floor and laughter. I looked up and saw Alexis, she looked really mad. I walked over to the stroller and picked up Treshaun, Alexis picked up Tyrell. "What is she doing here?" Alexis asked me. Well, it was more like almost yelling than asking, but same difference. "She needs a place to crash for a few days." I told her walking back to the couch and sitting down. Treshaun was pulling at my watch. I sat down and let Alexis have her little fit. She just mad cause neither of us can fuck for another two weeks. "Dustin, I don't want her here!" She yelled. I turned and looked at her. "You know what?" I started, "I'm not gonna argue with you because my friend needs a spot to chill for a few days it might be so bad. Think about it. A little extra help around the house. She might even watch the boys and she said if she needs to stay here longer than a week that she would pay rent."

"Whatever. I don't got time for this. I got a class to get to. Feed the boys and change their diapers and take them to the park or something later. She can stay here tonight but I want her out of here tomorrow." She dropped the diaper bag, picked up her purse gave Tyrell to me and walked out the door. I laid back on the couch. Alishia picked up one of the twins and started talking to him and playing. I looked up and she picked up Treshaun. I think she got favorites already.

She got up and walked in the kitchen with him. She went in the fridge and got out the bottle cause when she was on the couch he started fussing. "Dustin, You want the bottle for Tyrell too?" She asked while looking through the fridge. "Yeah." I said as I nodded and turned up the volume more on the television. I turned the channel to a music station. Shoop, by Salt N` Pepa. Alishia came back in the living room and gave me one of the bottles then laid down on the floor with Tre` and started singing to him. Her voice was horrible but he liked it, so I didn't say anything to her. I did get up and leave `Rell with her while I went to go and take a shower. I been sitting in the house all day and besides I still gotta go to the grocery store today before it closes. I like Saturday's specifically for this reason: I can procrastinate. Cool

During my shower there was knock on the door. I got out and wrapped a towel around my waist and opened the door. It was Alishia, She backed away and covered her eyes. "I know I don't look that bad half naked." I said joking with her as I pulled her hand down from her face. She shut her eyes real tight and bit her lip. "What do you want? It's cold out here." The fan from mine and Alexis room was blowing cool air down my back. She held up my phone. "It was ringing." She said. I took the phone from her. "Why didn't you answer it?" I asked. I got used to Alexis answering my phone, besides she was sitting right there. She could have answered it.

"It's not mine to answer." She simply stated before turning around and walking back in the living room. I glanced at her ass before looking at the screen of my phone.

1 Missed Call: Carnell

I'll just call him back later. I closed the bathroom door and got back in the shower for another 15 or 20 minutes. Afterwards I lotioned up put on some deodorant and put on this:

After that I sprayed on some of my Axe* cologne and walked in the living room. Alishia looked up from playing with the boys. "Where do you plan on going and leaving me with two babies that don't belong to me?" She had a very straight face. I looked at her and at the babies. "Y'all are coming to the grocery store with me. No offense, I don't trust you by yourself in my place of residence." She smirked. "None taken. You know where I grew up. I don't blame you. But I'm not a thief." I turned around and walked back in to my room to grab my phone and keys.

"Really?" Carnell said. I opened the door and Alishia rolled the stroller out and towards the elevator. "Yeah. Is there a problem with that?" I asked sarcastically. "Naw. It's just funny. I can't see you going to the grocery store." He laughed a little. "ANYWAYS! What do you want?" I asked. "Nothin'. I'm bored. I miss my girl." I laughed really hard at that. Sometimes Carnell be saying real silly stuff. "So, call her phone and talk to her." I said to him. He scoffed and replied, "Oh yeah. I forgot about that. Okay." I smacked my forehead said back to him, "Sometimes I wonder how they let skip you skip a grade and then graduate." The elevator came and we got on.

"Whatever Dustin." Click! He hung up and then Alishia's phone went off.

I just shrugged as the light turned green, indicating we could go across the street.

"Why you always staring at me Dustin? Do I have something on my face?" She ran her hands over her face as we reached the other side of the street. She talks real loud so people started staring as we turned the corner and walked down the block. "No. I can hear half of your loud ass conversation. It don't sound right." I cringed at the thought of what they could have been talking about. Carnell is one of my closest friends so I know how he gets when he has a fine girlfriend, so I know that's how she got pregnant. And she's staying in my apartment for the next week or so? He gonna go mad if she ain't there with him.

"Well Dustin. I would tell you what he's doing because your grown. But I think your 'virgin ears' couldn't handle it." She played with her tongue ring as we entered the grocery store and went over to the fruit section. "I can handle anything you tell me. It's just that that's my friend and I don't want to know what he's doing over the phone with you." I stated honestly. She smirked and picked up a banana. "It's similar to how I got this way." She said. She sat the end of the banana on the handle bar of the stroller and moved her hand rapidly over it. I made a grossed out and face and she busted up laughing. "I'm just playin' D. He was recording something for me. I just wanted to be there to hear it." She put the banana back and walked on through the store. She continued talking on the phone. I went back to the front of the store to get a cart for the groceries.

That is so nasty. I hope she was really playing about the banana thing. I walked down the cereal aisle and grabbed Captain Crunch* and some Frosted Flakes*. Then I caught up to Alishia who was in the meat section looking at chicken and steaks. "If you know how to cook that then you can grab it." I said, she turned and gave a funny look. "You can't make chicken?" She asked. "No. I don't cook, because I burn everything up. That's why I said if YOU can cook it you can get it." She smiled a little bit. "Don't tempt me cause you know I'll cook up a storm in that little ass apartment." I picked up the chicken and the steak and put it in the cart. "Does that answer your question?" I said to her. She smiled and walked off, then disappeared in to one of the other aisles. That gets really annoying, real fast.

I walked through the aisles looking for her grabbing things that I needed for the apartment and the babies. I walked past the candy aisle and glanced down it. I saw Alishia she was handing the twins Twizzlers. They don't even have teeth yet. I walked down the aisle and asked if she was done. She nodded her head and continued talking on the phone as we walked towards the check out counter. "Carnell!.. Quit playing with me are you serious?!... You really did that?! But we not gonna be able to know for another month.... Okay, well I have to go. I'll call you back later! I promise.... Okay.. Yeah. I love you too... Bye." She laughed and ended her call as we stood in line to check out our items. We chatted shortly about her phone conversation until it was our turn at the check out counter. The lady looked up and smiled. We placed all the items on the belt.

"Are those you babies?" The lady asked. "Yeah." I replied. She continued ringing up our things, and trying to engage in conversation. "With her? That's your baby's mother?" I almost choked when she said that. "No! She's more like my little sister. She's expecting her own little one with my friend." The lady's smiled dropped and then returned as she blushed from being embarrassed for asking that question. "Dang, D! Just tell all my business." Alishia said as she bagged the groceries. "I'm sorry. It was just a silly question." The lady said, still clearly embarrassed. "It's fine. I said. Alishia bagged the groceries as if she was annoyed. "Your total is $67.89." She said. I handed her my EBT card out of my wallet and that took care of the groceries for the week. I grabbed the bags up and Alishia pushed the stroller home. The twins fell asleep while we were in the line and so we just walked back to the apartment in silence.

When we got up to the apartment Alishia put everything away and put the babies in their cribs then she grabbed some of her clothes out of the suitcase she brought and went in the bathroom. I assume to take a shower because I could hear the water running from the living room. I turned on the television and watched Family Guy. about ten minutes in to the show I could hear the lock to the apartment twisting. Alexis walked in and dropped her purse on the kitchen table and came in the living room and sat next to me on the couch.

"That girl still here?" She asked, what is going on with them? They were cool before Alexis had the twins. Alexis had the twins and all of a sudden they don't talk or even have normal conversations. "Yeah. She's in the bathroom." Alexis rolled her eyes and got up and left the living room. I hope they don't fight, cause if they break my damn furniture I will too pissed. I got up and walked down the hall. Alexis was banging on the bathroom door and screaming for Alishia to come out. I closed the door to the twins room and yanked Alexis away from the bathroom door.

"Act like you got some damn sense." I said sternly to Alexis. The bathroom got really silent and then Alexis turned to me. "I want her out of here." I looked at her real funny. "The only person that can make that decision is me. This my place. You just sleep and eat here. You can make a decision when you pay a bill or give me some rent money." She got in my face, "Don't ever talk to me like that. I had your babies and stayed with your tired ass for the last two years even when you doing them other bitches. And I don't trust that girl I want her out of here, tonight." She backed away from me as the bathroom door opened, revealing Alishia in a tight white beater and some blue plaid pajama pants.

"Is there some type of problem?" Alishia asked. "Yeah. You! You need to get the fuck out!" Alexis pointed to the front door. I pushed her arm down. "Fine, I know when I'm not wanted." Alishia said sadly. She put her undone, freshly washed hair into a ponytail as she walked in the living room. I walked behind her and Alexis walked behind me. "Don't go. She's just a little angry." Alexis grabbed my arm and made me face her. "Don't GO?!" She questioned. I pulled away from her. We were in the living room now.

"Yeah. Don't go. You don't turn people away when they need help. I guess your mean Minnesota ass don't know about that though." She looked shocked. Alishia steadily packed her things back in to the suit case and called someone on her cell phone. "Come and get me." Was all she said before Alexis smiled as if she won something. She was about to get the hell outta my apartment too. "Okay. I'll be outside in front. Love you too. Bye." She hung up the phone and walked over to me.

"Thanks for nothing." She said with a half a laugh. I opened my arms and gave her a hug. Her head went into my my chest and her arms were around my waist. She broke the hug and stood on her tippy toes and gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving out the door. I sat down on the couch and waited for Alexis to say something to me.

"What the hell was that?!" Alexis yelled in a shocked tone. Here we go...

"Why do you gotta be like that! I was trying to help the girl! All you do is push people away and act stubborn! Why don't you like her all of a sudden, anyways?" I questioned her and waited for her to answer me. "You let that nasty girl fuck you and then you let her in our home! That's what the damn problem problem is! That's why I don't like her 'all of a sudden.'" I laughed.

"Alexis you trippen! You can get the hell out too!" I retaliated. The expression on her face was one of shock and disbelief. "Why? Cause you know you did it? You fucked her?" She looked disgusted. "Man hell no! I never touched that girl! But you still can get the hell out for assuming that crazy half baked ass idea!" I yelled at her. She grabbed her purse and keys. She looked as if she was gonna cry, I didn't care though. She didn't care when she said those things to me. She knows I wouldn't touch no other female while I was with her.

"I'll be back for my things." She said before walking towards the door. "Don't bother. I'll give it to someone else." I heard her curse at me before slamming the door and leaving I got up and walked to the door and opened it, I yelled down the hall after her. "Don't be slamming my goddamn door neither!" She flicked me off. I didn't give a fuck. I closed and locked the door and went and sat back down on the couch. "Scandalous ass," I said to myself as I laid down on the couch.

Alexis is a crazy ass b.itch I mean seriously what the f.uck is wrong with that dumb fool...I mean yeah Lisha has done A LOT of things in da damn past but I mean come on now dats in da past, but dat don't mean dat she is crazy enuf 2 sleep wit Dustin. I mean yeah she did sleep wit her best friend Carnell but den again dats a whole different story & I accept it even tho I still h8 his dumb a.ss lolz...
hmmmm sum1's gonna come pick up Lisha...hmmmm 4 some reason I think it's Ty, coz he has been mentioned throughout the story but he has never had a p.o.v tho!...& yayyyy me and Jan Jan are gonna be in da next update...but I still don't get why me and Janice just stood by & did nuthing & just let Lisha get chucked out da house like garbage or sumthing. I mean yeah I know dat she gets on me and Janice's nerves and all but dat don't mean we don't luv her, coz she's still family and family always got each other's back!...
& u know wat, I'm kinda GLAD dat Alexis and Dustin have kinda broke up coz I don't like her stank attitude AT ALL! ...& I DO agree wit Janice tho, I think Dustin is likin' u Alishia....I'm sorry tho but it's da TRUTH! Coz he be lookin' at u too damn much & it's gettin' suspicious now! .....& dat b.itch Alexis better keep on walkin' fast be4 she bumpz in2 me on da street and den Jan Jan & I jump dat b.itch & beat da s.hit outta her lolz
