my mom does the same thing... but you don't have to study 24/7.... sometimes your mom needs to chill.

yh u're right, my Mom's trying 2 let me go out & stuff to do some shopping with my friends & go out 2 restaurants with them, but only when I have a break in between my exams like ryte now I kinda hav a break until next Monday or sumting like dat.
oh yh BUMPPPPPPPPPPPPP IT, I'll hav 2 upd8 my story next week Thursday or next week Friday tho.

[hiatus]Cherry Pie [2two] - Page 9 Patric10

(same saturday)
11am

"Hey babe, I been thinkin... Lets take a trip one of these weekends and go to a beach or a lake or something Just you, me and T.T.." Said Janice. "And what made you think of this?" I asked. "I just been thinkin we need to get away for a little while even if it is for 2 or 3 days. Besides I really think Tiara would like that and you could spend some time with her out side the community center." She explained.

"Okay. Just give me a few days to think about it." I said. "Kay." She said and went into the bedroom.

RRRRRRIIIINNGGGGG!

The phone rang and I guess Janice picked it up cause it didn't ring again. I just continued filling out my time card so I can get paid on Tuesday. Janice came waddling back into the living room. "Mickey's at my sisters place! We have to see him. NOW." I shook my head and looked back at my paper. "Who is Mickey?" I asked. "My brother? He's the baby." "OH. Okay fine. Gimme a few minutes."

Before I knew it were pulling up in the parking alot to her sisters apartment building, I barely stopped the car all the way before Janice jumped out and made her way to the front door of the building. I got out and followed Janice upto the apartment. "Janice! Come on now! What the hell!" I said as I made my way up to the top of the stairs. I stopped to catch my breath. "I need to start running again," I said to myself as I walked in the door. I closed it and walked into the livingroom. This apartment is tiny.

Alishia was on the couch hugging and holding a little boy. She was talking to him softly in spanish. "Mickey, right?" I said to Janice who was on the couch next to them. The three of them nodded. "Mickey, baby why'd you come here?" Janice asked. "It was empty and I didn't like it at daddy's house." Mickey said. "J? Can I talk to you for a second?" Alishia asked with a pleading expression. Janice agreed and they got up.

"Pat, can you turn the game so he has something to do. I don't think he wants any of the girls toys." Alishia said then they left the room. I turned the game on and there it was extremely quiet in the livingroom. I'd only met Mickey twice. Right after he was born and another time after that when he was still a little baby.

"So, how old are you now?" I asked. "Five." He said while customizing his player on the game, it was basketball. "How old are you?" He asked. "Twenty-four." I replied, doing the same. "That's old. You like bein that old?"

I laughed. "It's alright. You go to school?" He nodded. We started playing the game. "You like your teachers and stuff?"

"I only got one teacher. Her name is Ms. Martinez." He said. "Ms. Martinez.. Haha. She sounds pretty nice. You have friends and all that in your class?" I asked. "Yeah. Not alot though. I don't like alot though. They scream all the time." I laughed slightly. "Thier kids, your a kid. Y'all are supposed to do that as long as your not causin to much trouble." I said.

After that we sat in silence playing the game until someone made a basket or got the ball stolen. Alishia and Jan came from the back room. They both looked pissed and worried.

"Patrick, we need to leave. Now." She gave Mickey a hug and a kiss on his cheek. "We'll be back later, Miguelito. Kay? I love you." She kissed him once more and we went out the door.

"I'm gonna kill him! OOH!" Janice said through clenched teeth as we waited for the elevator.

"Kill WHO?"

45 minutes later we arrived at his house...
