THE NEXT DAY:

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I reached over and searched for the alarm clock, pressing the button on it in the process. The alarm stopped beeping and I sat up in bed. I slid on some pajama pants and a big tee and got up to go in the bathroom. I walked down the hall and knocked on the closed bathroom door. There was no answer so I opened the door and walked in. I closed the door behind me and turned on the water for the shower. I got in and let the hot water run all over my aching body. I washed the smell of sex off my body and out of my hair. I used my Coconut shampoo and Strawberry body wash, the mixed scents made the inside my nose tingle as it rose with the steam from my shower. I continued scrubbing and washing for the next 15 or twenty minutes.

After my shower I lotioned up, brushed my teeth and washed my face. I put my towel and walked out the bathroom and back to my room. I passed Rosie on the way who gave a dirty look as she made her way to the bathroom. I returned the look and opened the door to my room. I walked over to the dresser and got out my underclothes and quickly slipped on my red thong and matching bra underneath my towel.

I then walked over to the side of the bed where Marcel was stretched out. The only part of him that was covered up was his mid-section and his black boxers stuck out from underneath the covers. He was on his back and his hand was on his stomach. I grabbed his ankle and shook it for a few seconds, until he woke up. He wiped his face and looked up at me.

Alishia: It's that time. You gotta go.
Marcel: Excuse me?
Alishia: You have to leave.

I spoke slow, as if he couldn't understand me.

Marcel: Why do I have to leave? You invited me here.
Alishia: And now I'm telling you to leave. Plus, you were supposed to leave last night after you was finished.
Marcel: What the hell is your problem?
Alishia: Right now it's you. Can you just leave?

I crossed my arms and he just gave me a blank stare.

Alishia: Don't - don't give me that look.
Marcel: Why the hell not? Your kicking me out after you had invited me over here to put it down. I did what you asked me to.

He licked his lips and pointed between my legs.

Alishia: Yo, I didn't ask you to do that.
Marcel: You didn't stop me though.
Alishia: So what do you want me to do?
Marcel: I don't know.
Alishia: Fine. Do what you want to but you gotta get the hell out my room.
Marcel: Why?
Alishia: I gotta get dressed.
Marcel: You don't got nothing that I ain't already seen.
Alishia: I don't like people watching me when I get dressed.
Marcel: Fine. I'll go.

He smiled, picked up his bag and clothes. We walked out my room and I showed him where the other bathroom was so he could get his self together. I walked back in my room, closed the door and turned on my computer and then I dropped my towel and walked in my closet to find what to wear today. : )

I turned away from the computer and Janice was walking past my door.

Alishia: J!!
Jan: What?
Alishia: Peanut has feelings!
Jan: Patrick been had feelings! You way late twin.
Alishia: What ever.

Janice yawned and walked away. I rolled my eyes and tuned back to the computer.

p.breed has logged off.

Alishia: Awh. I still wanted to talk. Oh, well.

I logged off the instant messenger and then turned off the computer. I took a deep breath and suddenly smelled cologne. I turned around and Marcel was sitting on my bed tying his shoes. He was dressed in a red tee with black graphics and matching jeans and red he had black fusions* on his feet.

Alishia: What? You don't make noise when you walk in a room?

I said getting up from the computer. He looked up and his gaze met mine.

Marcel: You looked busy. I didn't want to bother you.
Alishia: I have 3 crazy siblings and a koo-koo cousin. Noise doesn't bother me. Actually, I'd appreciate it.

I smiled. He finished tying his shoe and stood up. His 5' 10" frame complimented my 5' 8" frame. I picked up my book bag and put the appropriate items in it. Aside from my other nightly activities, I did actually study for my English test.

Marcel: You need a ride to school?
Alishia: No. I already got one.
Marcel: Okay. I guess I'll see you later then.
Alishia: I guess so.

He walked closer to me and gave me a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek before he left. A few moments later I walked over to the window and saw his car pull out the drive way and go down the street.

I walked out my room and was on my way to the kitchen when I had remembered that I forgot my phone upstairs. I ran back up the stairs and bumped into my little 14 year old brother Justin in the process.

Alishia: Move!

I pushed him out the way and he stuck his his foot out as I walked past. He laughed as I stumbled and I flicked him off as I got up off the floor. Little fucker. I mumbled to myself as I dusted off the back of my pants and walked in my room. I grabbed my phone, lip gloss and keys and put them in my pocket, just before I put in my huge gold wire hoop earrings. I walked back downstairs and officially into the kitchen announcing myself as I did so.

Alishia: The King is here! king

Everyone turned and looked at me like I had lost my mind.

Rosie: Your crazy.
Jan: You got issues twin.
Alishia: Well, I don't want to be the Queen. All she does is sit on her ass all day and watch the King make all the decisions. So therefore, I'm the King.

I walked over to the cabinet and grabbed some pop-tarts for my breakfast.

Justin: You made your point.
Bryan: Yeah. Shut up!

I would have smacked him if the doorbell didn't ring. I grabbed my bag and walked over to the front door. It was Carnell. He was texting away in his Sidekick LX*.

Alishia: The door is open.

He looked up at me with those gorgeous brown eyes of his and smiled, showing all 32 of his pearly white teeth. He came in the door and hugged me really tight. If his hands were any lower he would have been squeezing my ass. His 6' 3" fame monstrously over powered mine, I loved it. He smelled like Axe Body Spray* and I could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He let go and I was finally able to stand all the way on my own two feet, but we were still pretty close.

Carnell: Hey.
Alishia: Hey.
Carnell: You ready to go ?
Alishia: Yeah. You ready for that English test?
Carnell: All the studying we did yesterday after school, I better be ready.
?: What did ya'll do after school?

I turned around and Jan had walked in the living room behind Justin and Bryan, obviously walking in on the wrong part of our conversation.

Carnell: We studied for an English test.

I grabbed his hand.

Alishia: Come on before we're late.
Carnell: Okay.

We walked outside in the blazing Atlanta heat and over to his truck that his dad had gotten him 2 years ago for his 16th birthday.

He opened the door for me and closed it after I had gotten in. I leaned over the drivers seat and unlocked the door for him. He got in and started the car. He shifted the stick and moved his foot back and forth from the gas to the break as he drove. I know it sounds stupid, but the way he handled the car was a turn-on to me. I just watched the way he worked. We had gone about eight blocks before he spoke up and broke the silence and my train of thought.

Alishia: What?
Carnell: what did you do last night, after you got back from the library?
Alishia: Messed with Rosie, and watched television until I fell asleep. Lie!
Carnell: Oh. What did you watch?
Alishia: The Simpson's and then I watched the news until I clocked out. LIE!!
Carnell: Wow.
Alishia: What did you do when you got home?
Carnell: Talked to Rosie for a little bit. Studied for the test some more, ordered a pizza and went to sleep.
Alishia: Oh, how eventful.

I kinda felt bad about lieing to my best friend about what I did last night with one of his other friends. We stopped at a red light.

Carnell: I know your lieing about what you did yesterday. You don't even watch the Simpson's.
Alishia: Where is this coming from?
Carnell: No where. But I know that's not what you did.
Alishia: Believe what you want to, dawg. But that's what I did.

The light turned green and he drove the rest of the way to school in complete silence. He parked when we got to school and just sat there looking mad. I got out the car and walked in the school mad heated. I walked to Carnell and mine's locker and put my stuff in there and grabbed my math book and journal and slammed the locker door shut. Marcel was standing behind my lockerd door and startled me, making me drop my books. We both bent down to pick them up. He picked up my books and handed them to me as we stood up.

Alishia: Thanks.
Marcel: No problem. What you mad about, ma?
Alishia: It don't concern you. Don't worry about it.

I tried my best not to sound mean. But it didn't come out like that. I tried walking past him, but he grabbed my arm pulling me back.

Alishia: Get your hands off of me!
Marcel: What the hell is your problem?
Alishia: I all ready told you. Don't worry about it. Now, let me go.
Marcel: No. Tell me the problem.
Alishia: Right now, it's you.

I snatched my arm away and proceeded to the women's restroom. Ignorant ass nigga. I'll teach him to put his damn hands on me. Wait 'til my big brother Ty get here. Stupid foolish nigga, he gonna get fucked up. I opened the door to the bathroom and walked over to the mirror to check out my arm that was already turning red. Punk ass bitch. I was so mad. After punching the wall, I scrolled my list of contacts until I came upon my brother Ty's name. I composed a new text message telling him what had happened. He had sent a text back asking where I was at. The texting continued for 15 minutes before I told him that I had to go to class. I walked out the rest room and went to class, as the second bell had rang.

30 minutes later. Like a Star @ heaven

If math couldn't go by any slower! I ended up wating the most of the class period scribbling pictures down in my journal. I glanced up at the clock. There was another 15 minutes left of class. I think I'll tell Carnell what happened last night between me and Marcel. I hope he don't get too mad. I hope it don't jeprodize our friendship cause I really like him and we've been best friends since my mom and dad moved us here from New York 4 years ago.
