i think carnell AND dustin should have their pov's in one of the next updates.. has dustin even been mentioned in this story? and carnell just been gone for the longest time... and maybe bryan should get his pov too...

a'ight den dere'll be a Carnell p.o.v and a Dustin p.o.v too and yes Dustin has been mentioned in this story lolz but he was mentioned in da first few chapters of the story. & yh u're ryte, I haven't mentioned Carnell in da story 4 a while and Bryan should DEFINITELY have a p.o.v too. I guess I'm gonna have a VERY long upd8 2moz, so I will just split it in2 part 1 and part 2 ok.

I'm breaking the LONGGGG update into many chapters so then I can post more often rather than y'all having to wait for an update for too long.
I SHOULD update again tomorrow but IF I don't then I definitely will on Thursday coz there's no skool on Thursday, so I'lll be able to upd8.


Chapter 14 ~Shocked~






I sat there, frightened and confused. I slowly moved away from Shad, and then he quickly turned his head and looked at me with rage in his eyes, I gasped and moved backwards on the couch. Shad’s expression softened and he moved closer to me, he reached out for my left hand that was placed on the couch but I quickly moved my hand and crawled up in a ball. Shad looked down, I looked at him and he looked as if he was fighting back the urge to cry.



I released my tight grip from my legs and uncoiled from the ball position that I was in. I dragged myself closer to Shad and he still didn’t look at me, I reached out to touch his shoulder and just as I was about to touch him, he looked up at me. I was startled and I jumped slightly. I looked into his eyes and I saw nothing but sorrow and despair. Somehow I managed to intertwine my fingers with his, I didn’t know what was bothering him but I knew that in time he would tell me.



We sat there for a few minutes just holding each other’s hand and he had his head on my chest as I held his body close to mine. Usually it would feel kind of awkward being this close to any guy but Tyrese, and I’d feel guilty and think that I’m cheating. But for some reason, I didn’t feel so bad, it actually felt right. I looked down at Shad and saw that he had his eyes closed. I started drifting off to sleep, and then a few minutes later I felt Shad remove his head from my chest and his hand slipped out of mine. I instantly woke up and he looked quite startled at my quick reaction.



We looked at each for a few seconds and then we laughed. Shad returned to his original position before he fell asleep on me. We sat there in silence for a little while. The silence was really getting to me and I wanted so badly to ask him what that call was all about. I fidgeted and thought about Shad’s possible reactions if I DID ask him about it, since he was so easily aggravated by the phone call maybe I shouldn’t ask him.



Shad got up and then he went into the kitchen. He was in there for quite a while, and then he came back out with some doughnuts, chocolate, and a bowl filled with popcorn. I’m guessing he must’ve been really hungry, either that or he was trying to eat his pain away. He started off by eating a doughnut with sprinkles and chocolate on it. I started to feel hungry and I was waiting for him to ask me if I wanted any. But he didn’t, he just kept on eating the doughnuts without even acknowledging my presence. I got a little angry, but I didn’t want to let my anger show. “You gonna share any of that?” I asked him in a sarcastic tone, at first he just ignored me but then he flashed that sexy smile of his, and then my anger seemed to fade away.



“Yeah I will Lisha, but I didn’t think there was any need for me to ask you if you wanted any. I just thought that if you wanted one, then you’d take it.” he replied, still not taking his eyes off the food. I didn’t like being ignored; everything seemed fine until he got that damn phone call. “So you sure that Rosie and Kelly don’t mind you devouring all the food in their house?” I asked hoping to get him to actually look at me this time, and he did. He laughed and then replied “Naw, they wouldn’t mind. Besides we family, and plus Kelly’s rarely home so technically I’m only eating Rosie’s food. I just pray to God that that ni.gga ain’t cheating on my little sis coz I swear I’ll fu.ck him up.” He said as his jaw clenched and his fist did too.




I take it he doesn’t really like Kelly. “Shad, do you hate Kelly or something?” I asked, hoping to not get yelled at or something since Shad and Rosie are the type to have random outbursts of anger. I guess you could call them bipolar. “It’s not that I hate him or anything, coz he’s a good guy. I just don’t want my sister to get hurt again. We all know that Tyrese hurt her bad, and she even thought about becoming a damn nun, *Shad paused and laughed slightly* but then Kelly came along and she fell in love again. I warned her not to be with him, but she insisted that he was different, and now I’m not so sure and neither is she.” Shad said unclenching his jaw and fist, and looking down.



I could tell that this wasn’t an issue that Shad really liked to discuss so I decided to change the subject and ask him about what I REALLY wanted to know. “Shad, what was that phone call about?” He remained looking down and then he looked up at me, and then let out a sigh. “It’s a long story.” Shad said and then he ran his fingers through his hair and closed his eyes, and let his head down slightly.











I know this upd8 is REALLY boring right now but when Shad explains himself in the next upd8, it will start to get INTERESTING!!
